FAQ

Good to know.

Scope, timing, revisions, collaboration, and rights in plain English.

What counts as a business song?

Any song ordered to promote, identify, monetize, advertise, or support a business, brand, product, service, creator business, podcast, channel, event, or other commercial project.

When does the 1–48 hour window start?

After payment clears and every required brief field is complete. Missing information pauses the clock. The window applies to the first version, not the final approved delivery.

What counts as one revision?

One consolidated request for reasonable changes to the current song. A new genre, concept, lyric premise, reference direction, or replacement composition is a new order.

What do revisions cost?

Rounds 1–3 are included. Revision 4 is $25. Revision 5 and every revision after that is $20 each.

What is Create It With Me?

It is a private, asynchronous conversation with your producer inside the order. Send text or voice notes, share the details that matter, and shape the feeling throughout production. It costs $20 with a personal song, $25 with a creator song, and is included free with every business song. Conversation is not limited by revision count, but requested changes to delivered music still follow the revision policy.

Can you copy a song or artist?

No. References can guide mood, tempo, instrumentation, and energy, but we will not copy a protected melody, recording, lyrics, or a living artist's identity.

What rights do I receive?

Personal orders include personal-use permission. Creator and business orders include a commercial-use license for the disclosed channel, content, or business uses in the brief. No package promises copyright ownership, registration, or exclusivity.

Can I cancel?

Before production begins, cancellation is eligible for a refund less non-refundable processing costs. Once production begins, the order is non-refundable unless MADECUE cannot fulfill the accepted brief.

Rights note: MADECUE provides permission based on the order type and disclosed use. We do not promise exclusive copyright ownership, copyright registration, or that a computer-assisted work qualifies for copyright protection. You must have permission to submit every lyric, recording, reference, logo, image, or file included in your brief.
